Welcome from the Dean

As we begin 2023…

Once again, we have a new season to reflect on the blessings, challenges and opportunities before us. Some of us had the privilege of traveling to the Holy Land over the break, and we’ll hear from a few students. Palmer also welcomes alum Rev. Dr. J. Wendell Mapson, Jr. D.Min. '83, D.Div. '02 (honorary) as an adjunct faculty member. Considering the year before us, let us also remember the dreams God has placed in our hearts for ministry, justice, reconciliation, and healing to name some. To that end, we hope the stories and events shared this month encourage you to remember God’s faithfulness and to lean into the fullness of the all that awaits us.

Grace and Peace,
Rev. Dr. Kimberlee A. Johnson,
Interim Dean,
