Welcome from the Dean

Dear Friends,

As participants in Christ's life-giving power, together, we become what we could not be on our own–whole. This path is often filled with both joys and challenges. In this issue reflecting on the theme of wholeness, meet Dr. Callie Micale through her ministry, her theology of disability, and through her fresh insights on faith and chronic illness inspired by Mark 5:25-34. Read Palmer on Mission, recapping a recent gathering which addressed the sexual abuse of children in the church. As a seminary, we are grateful to God for the abundant grace that allows us to faithfully serve and embody our mission together.

Grace and Peace,
Rev. Dr. Kimberlee A. Johnson,
Dean, Palmer Theological Seminary
and College
