As God’s chosen people...clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. – Col. 3:12
One of the things that makes Palmer Seminary so special is we do not lose sight of God's call to care for those who are around us: family, students, alumni, neighbors. As followers of Jesus we embody compassion, that is a loving disposition resulting in acts of kindness toward our neighbor, particularly those with need. This month, we’re happy to share that we're launching the Center for Alumni Care & Seminary Engagement – focused on caring for our growing alumni family. We also honor the contributions of our Hispanic sisters and brothers both as we celebrate Hispanic heritage month and prepare for the XII Orlando Costas Lecture on October 15.
Blessings,
Rev. Dr. Kimberlee A. Johnson, Interim Dean, Palmer Theological Seminary |
